Dawn is a writer and editor based in New York. She currently works as associate editor at Artforum.com; her writing on visual art, video games, books, tech, and music appears in both the print and online editions of the New York Times, New York Magazine, T Magazine, and Artforum, as well as on the websites of Bookforum, Vogue, The Paris Review, and Triple Canopy, among other publications.

In a past life, Dawn received a degree in cognitive science at Yale, and investigated computational vision (with the help of a humanoid robot nicknamed Marvin) as an AI researcher on a Fulbright Grant in Zurich. Now she lives in Brooklyn, where she goes biking and birdwatching in her free time. She codes in C and Perl.
