Dawn Chan is a writer who lives in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving her BA from Yale, where she studied cognitive science, she did postgraduate work in artificial intelligence on a Fulbright grant. Her writing on art, culture, and science appears in Artforum, Paper, Topic, and the Paris Review's blog, among other publications. Dawn recently co-edited "Common Minds," a series of projects dealing with the contemporary infatuation with the brain in art and culture, for Triple Canopy.
Dawn likes watching the Boston Celtics and is the owner of an elderly tuxedo cat named Rondo. She also makes music, sometimes for commercials.
